  • Your favorite Banhez expression

    A beer (chela) to sip

  • Nada. Take your time sipping mezcal and a refreshing beer of your choice. Note how the mezcal opens up over time & enjoy.

SMOKE and MÛRE

  • 1½ oz Banhez Mezcal

    ½ oz Combier Liqueur de Mûre (Blackberry Liqueur)

    ½ oz fresh lime juice

    ginger beer

  • Combine all ingredients except ginger beer in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass over fresh ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with lime wheel.

MEZCALRITA

  • 2 oz Banhez Mezcal

    ¾ oz Combier Liqueur d'Orange

    1 oz fresh lime juice

    ¼ oz agave nectar

  • Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake for ten seconds, and strain over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed rocks glass.

SPIRIT FORWARD

  • 1½ oz Banhez Mezcal

    ½ oz Lillet Blanc

    ½ oz Dry Vermouth

    1 dash Peychaud’s Bitters

    1 dash orange bitters

  • Add all ingredients to a mixing beaker with ice and stir continuously for 15-20 seconds. Strain into a chilled couple or martini glass. Garnish with a swath of lemon zest.

oaxacan old fashioned

  • 1½ oz Banhez Mezcal

    ¼ oz agave nectar

    2 dashes Angostura Bitters

  • Stir and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with orange zest.

HIERVE DE FLORES

  • 1½ oz Banhez Mezcal

    ½ oz hibiscus tea-honey syrup*

    ½ oz fresh lemon juice

    ¼ oz Royal Combier

    3 oz hot water

  • Fill mug with hot water and set aside. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin and slowly add measured hot water. Lightly stir. Pour water out from heated glass and pour in cocktail. Garnish with lemon wheel.

    *Hibiscus Tea-Honey Syrup.

    Brew your favorite hibiscus tea with 4oz boiling water. In a pot over medium-high heat, add 2oz honey and stir until dissolved. Store in refrigerator. Cool completely before use.
