OAXACAN PIÑA

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Banhez Mezcal 
1½ oz fresh pineapple juice  
½ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz agave nectar

PREPARATION

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a collins glass over fresh ice. Garnish with pineapple slice.

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Banhez Mezcal 
½ oz cranberry-cinnamon simple syrup* 
½ oz fresh lime juice
2 sage leaves
3 oz sparkling water

PREPARATION

Place sage leaves and cranberry syrup at the bottom of a collins glass and gently muddle. Add Banhez Mezcal and lime juice to the glass, then add ice. Top with sparkling water and stir the cocktail lightly. Garnish with fresh sage leaf, skewered cranberries, and fresh grated cinnamon.

*Cranberry-Cinnamon Simple Syrup.
Add 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, 2 cups granulated sugar, and 1.5 cups of water to a sauce pan. While continuously stirring, cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add 1 whole cinnamon stick and cook until cranberries begin to fall apart. (About 15 mins.) Strain solids from syrup and store in a covered container in the refrigerator. Cool completely before use.

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Banhez Mezcal 
½ oz hibiscus tea-honey syrup* 
½ oz fresh lemon juice
¼ oz Royal Combier 
3 oz hot water

PREPARATION

Fill mug with hot water and set aside. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin and slowly add measured hot water. Lightly stir. Pour water out from heated glass and pour in cocktail. Garnish with lemon wheel.

*Hibiscus Tea-Honey Syrup.
Brew your favorite hibiscus tea with 4oz boiling water. In a pot over medium-high heat, add 2oz honey and stir until dissolved. Store in refrigerator. Cool completely before use.

SPIRIT FORWARD

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Banhez Mezcal 
½ oz Lillet Blanc 
½ oz Dry Vermouth
1 dash Peychaud’s Bitters
1 dash orange bitters

PREPARATION

Add all ingredients to a mixing beaker with ice and stir continuously for 15-20 seconds. Strain into a chilled couple or martini glass. Garnish with a swath of lemon zest.

SMOKE & MûRE

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Banhez Mezcal 
½ oz Combier Liqueur de Mûre (Blackberry Liqueur)
½ oz fresh lime juice
ginger beer

PREPARATION

Combine all ingredients except ginger beer in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass over fresh ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with lime wheel.

OAXACAN OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Banhez Mezcal 
¼ oz agave nectar 
2 dashes Angostura Bitters 

PREPARATION

Stir and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with orange zest.

MEZCALRITA

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Banhez Mezca
¾ oz Combier Liqueur d'Orange
1 oz fresh lime juice 
¼ oz agave nectar  

PREPARATION

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake for ten seconds, and strain over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed rocks glass.

PALOMA NUESTRA

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz Libélula Tequila
½ oz Banhez Mezcal
½ oz Combier Pamplemousse Rose
½ oz fresh lime juice

PREPARATION

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake for ten seconds, and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass rimmed with grapefruit salt. Garnish with 1/4 lime wedge.
